_______________________________

Spring/Summer Semester - May, June, July, August (16 weeks/lessons)

Fall Semester - September, October, November, December (16 weeks/lessons)

_______________________________

Semester tuition is $960+hst for 16 weeks of riding lessons. and is paid monthly for $240 +hst/month (this includes 1 lesson a week). A $100 deposit is due at registration (the deposit goes towards the last month's fees if you commit for the entire semester).

If you do not commit to a semester, the monthly rate is $280 +hst/month, and does not always guarantee a spot for the month after.

*Note: there is 1 shutdown week/period per semester; as 1 month out of the 4 months will have a "5th week" - for example, 1 of the 4, will have "5 Mondays" in the month. Instead of charging for the extra lesson, there will be a "shut down week" per semester to allow other barn activities, maintenance, a break for our horses, etc. These weeks will be predetermined and sent out in the Registration Package upon registering.

Add ons/Specials:

  • Add a second weekly lesson for only $220 +hst/month when enrolled in a semester (this works towards siblings as well!)

  • Add practice rides by joining our part boarding program, details further down this page

Details:

Our lesson program teaches students all about horses - not just riding! Students will learn how to groom and tack up their horse, how to care for them, and the fundamental riding skills to become an effective and correct rider. We create all-around horse people!

For new riders - or those new to our program - lessons consist of an “in-barn” portion (where they learn how to handle, groom, and tack up the horse for riding) as well as a riding portion. As students become independent with getting their horse ready, then the lesson time will be fully dedicated to riding.

After their lesson time, riders are expected to clean up after themselves - this includes cleaning and putting their tack/equipment away, sweeping up, or helping out with a horse care task. We are a community focused barn, and everyone is responsible to keeping the place tidy for the health and safety of the horses and each other.

Lesson Types:
Group Lessons
: 3-5 riders of similar ages and skill levels. 50 minutes in length.

Semi-Private Lessons: maximum of 2 riders of similar age/skill level. 45 minutes in length.

Private Lessons: Individual, private lesson. 30 minutes in length.

NOTE: All lesson types are the same price, the length of the lesson is what changes.
